I love the month of November. I love the crisp cool temperatures, the fall foliage and all of the beautiful colors. I love the food! Pumpkins, apples and the scent of cinnamon!
I also love that I see so many friends and family expressing their gratitude and thankfulness. But one thing I've noticed over the years is that very few people send Happy Thanksgiving cards. In fact, I have only two friends that routinely send a card wishing me and my family a Happy Thanksgiving.
Personally, I believe that Thanksgiving is the absolute perfect time to send a card of thanks and gratitude. Especially for business owners to send a card to their clients. Why? Well with the age of political correctness sending a "Christmas" card may be seen as not being sensitive to those that do not celebrate Christmas. And sending a "Holiday" card may be seen in the same light. It's difficult to know the religious beliefs of everyone we would like to keep in touch with. The solution is to set yourself apart from the rest (i.e. your competition) and send a "Happy Thanksgiving" card.
I don't know anyone living in the U.S.A. that does not celebrate this holiday. It is the perfect time to send a card.
